Acts of violence: Two gunned down in Quetta
The deceased was identified as Ruash Kumar, resident of Dera Allah Yar.
QUETTA:
Two persons, including a Hindu trader, were gunned down and a bullet riddled body was found in three separate incidents of violence in the provincial capital and Sibi district on Thursday.
A Hindu trader was gunned down in Qambarani Road area of Quetta. According to the police, unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire in the Qumbrani Road area killing the man on the spot. Police rushed to the spot and body was taken to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem.
The deceased was identified as Ruash Kumar, resident of Dera Allah Yar. In another incident, unidentified assailants gunned down a man in Killi Geo area of Kirani Road on Thursday. The man was identified as Rehmat Ali, resident of Hazara Town. A case has been registered separately and investigations are underway.
Meanwhile, police recovered a bullet riddled body in Margzani area of Sibi district on Thursday. Officers took the body to District Headquarters Hospital.
