Swallowing acid: Woman attempts suicide

FAISALABAD: A woman attempted suicide on Wednesday by swallowing acid in Khurarianwala area. Police said Kiran, 26, had had an argument with her husband, Javaid Ahmad, over a family issue. She locked herself in a room and swallowed acid. Ahmed broke the door to get in and found her lying unconscious. She was taken to Allied Hospital, where doctors treating her said that her condition was critical.
