Hit and run: Dumper ploughs into shops, office

ATTOCK: A man was critically injured when a dumper ran over a complaint office of the Wapda and three surrounding shops, police said on Tuesday. The police said that a dumper (P 2603) was near a bus stand, when trying to avoid a collision with a wagon, it rammed into a complaint office of Wapda and three shops. As a result, a lineman Ashiq Ilahi, who was sleeping inside the office, was critically injured. Moreover, the drivers of the dumper and wagon managed to escape. The injured was taken to the DHQ Attock, from where he has been discharged in stable condition.
