Shaan, Zubair axed from hockey squad

KARACHI: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) axed Ali Shan and Mohammad Zubair as it finalised the 18-man squad for the London Olympics. The duo was included in the 20-man squad that was initially announced last week. The federation, however, had announced that two players would be dropped in a week’s time to finalise the squad of 18 that would be sent to London.
