Mirpur clashes claim three lives, leave one injured
After learning of their deaths, the victims’ family attacked and killed Shaukat Zaman and injured Zaheer.

Three people, including two brothers, were shot dead while another was seriously injured when two groups clashed over a property dispute in Mirpur area here on Saturday. Police said there was dispute between Sher Zaman and Jehandad of Nara Boji village, Mirpur over the ownership of a phosphate mine. One of the groups blocked access for the other to the mine.
Following legal action, the court ruled in favour of Sher Zaman. However, the dispute did not end there.
On Saturday, Shaukat and Zaheer, sons of Sher Zaman, allegedly opened fire on Khanwaiz and Saeed, sons of Jehandad, killing them on the spot. After learning of their deaths, the victims’ family attacked and killed Shaukat Zaman and injured Zaheer.
