SYDNEY: Australian Twenty 20 international Mitchell Marsh has been sent home from the Centre of Excellence in Brisbane for disciplinary reasons, said Cricket Australia (CA) yesterday. The 20-year-old all-rounder was ordered home after being declared unfit to train yesterday following a night out. “While the incident in isolation was not serious, he was already on a final warning,” said CA. “As such, it was decided he should be sent home.” The powerful middle-order batsman and medium-pacer has represented Australia in three Twenty20 internationals and a single One-Day International. He is the youngest son of former Australian opener and team selector Geoff Marsh.
