IB deputy director shot dead in Karachi
According to details, unidentified assailants on a motorcycle fired on the officer, when he was going towards his house after parking his car, fatally wounding him.
Identified as Qamar Raza, the officer was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed hospital in critical condition.
Even as doctors administered treatment, he succumbed to his injuries.
Earlier in July, a Crime Investigation Department (CID) officer was shot dead.
CID sub-inspector Ghufran Amin was shot dead near his house in Pathan Colony. He was the third CID officer to have been killed in a month.
The police said that Amin’s murder was part of an ongoing series of revenge killings of police officers taking action against target killers and extortionists.

This shows the complete failure of this government on law and order. How should a common man feel when police and intelligence officers, who are responsible for protecting people are being killed like this??? Killing an IB or Police official can be done by someone who doesnt care about any repurcussions, who has either very long hands or who is an utter extremist as is the case of taliban and other religious militant outfits... In Karachi it seems more to be politically and ethnically motivated. Very sad and bad. Shame on this government.

Now why is this IB Official being named openly in the news. Is it because our media is crossing its limits and showing details of national interest (off course you need to hide it from enemies that your top Intelligence man is down) Or is it just our Intelligence Failure, AGAIN !!
I want to go in IB or police and this makes me sad.
