Certificates were distributed among 120 students from various schools, while the resource generation and outreach department’s chairperson Kishwer Zehra applauded the students’ devotion to volunteering.
Some students volunteered for more than 1,000 hours, added Zehra. During their stint at SIUT, students learnt about various medical departments at the institute, and also received training in administering first aid on patients. A total of 2,926 students have taken part in SIUT’s signature volunteer service programme since its inception.
