As the court’s proceedings initiated, Awan informed the court that he was not feeling well and that he had to go for a medical checkup. The court decided to resume the hearing after Awan’s return.
On his arrival in the court, Awan submitted a medical certificate and prayed before the court that the hearing be adjourned.
The court adjourned the hearing till Wednesday and announced that Awan will be given more time if his health condition does not become better.

Babar Awan is no longer the same spirited Awan, after being ditched by Zardari. Now he is seen moving around all by himself without the crowds who normally used to be surrounding him when he very frequently used to ridicule the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan. Today he looks to be an example of misery only because he had sold his conscience instead of responding to his conscience. He has been a very loud mouth piece of his erstwhile corrupt masters who have used him and then discarded him. I have no doubt that he will get an appropriate dose from the court as the fate of people like him has to be such which should be lesson for others.
Mr. Awan please get back well soon we need you very badly to run affairs of this polluted country. You are a genius and you can do it. I wish your Boss had nominated you as our Prime Minsiter I wish he had that sagacity and appreciate your sacrifices for PPP and Bhutto family, we have not seen any photo you distributing sweets at any; time. people are all against you, they are jealous of yoou.
There is no rush in Awan's contempt case. All the rush and priority was given to PM Gilani. Let Awan complete his term before he is sentenced for contempt. The PCO court should only concentrate on undoing the election results at the top level. No rush on any other case.
