LAHORE: Municipal authorities removed a number of encroachments at the General Truck Stand on Link Ravi Road on Sunday, said a press release. District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal authorised the operation after a meeting with members of the Pakistan Truck and Trailer Owners Association. Fifteen illegal tandoors and ramps were demolished during Sunday’s operation. The operation against encroachments at Link Ravi Road, which was led by City Assistant Commissioner Saira Umar and Ravi Town Municipal Officer Malik Ibrar, will continue, said the press release.
