KARACHI: Pakistan Navy took full advantage of Army’s absence and a depleted Wapda to clinch the 6th NBP All Pakistan Boxing Championship in Quetta, winning six gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Balochistan Reds were second, ending with five silvers and one bronze. Wapda, however, could only manage two gold and one bronze medal. Navy had two international boxers in their ranks in Nadir Khan and Dur Mohammad, who both won gold medals, to help their team win the championship.
