2 prisoners killed, 1 injured in firing at Lahore Sessions Court
One prisoner killed as another opens fire inside temporary lock up.

Two prisoners were killed and another was injured in a firing incident and standoff with the police at the Sessions Court in Lahore on Saturday, Express News reported.
According to Express News, a prisoner identified as Azam had shot Shafqat inside the temporary lockup of the Sessions Court. A standoff between Azam and the police lasted for an hour before he was also shot inside the temporary lockup.
Another prisoner was injured as a result of the firing.
A police official said that Azam had arrived today from a jail in Sahiwal for a hearing and Shafqat had come from Township. Both men had earlier served their sentences together and had gotten into a fight, he said.
