Punjab Govt: Meeting with Chinese bus maker held

Planning had been made to purchase a further 1,000 buses.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday met with a delegation of China Golden Dragon Bus Company. Discussions took place on making investment in the transport sector of Punjab.


Talking to the delegation, Sharif said that the provincial government was spending billions of rupees on provision of quality transport and other comfortable facilities to the people. He pointed out that air-conditioned bus service had been launched in Faisalabad and Rawalpindi along with the provincial metropolis and the facility was also being expanded to other cities.

He said that the planning had been made to purchase a further 1,000 buses. Speaking on the occasion, Golden Dragon Bus Company International Business General Manager Bao Hongquan assured that his company wanted to invest in the transport sector of Punjab. He said that his company manufactures rapid transit buses and announced to gift two buses to Punjab.

Thank you chinese deligation for Two buses and are welcome but kindly help Punjab government to provide transportation to the Punjab so they can Travel respectfully.
