KARACHI:

India registered a comfortable six-wicket win over Sri Lanka to book their spot in the U19 Asia Cup final that will take place tomorrow against Pakistan in Kuala Lumpur.

Chasing a target of 247 at the Kinrara Academy Oval in the Malaysian capital, India comfortably achieved the total in the 48th over, courtesy a superb 116-run knock by captain Unmukt Chand.

Earlier, the Indians restricted Sri Lanka through a disciplined show on the field, with Baba Aparajith and Harmeet Singh claiming two wickets apiece. Sandun Weerakkody (73) and Niroshan Dickwella (66) were the top scorers for the Sri Lankans.
