Urban development: New parking plaza on The Mall soon
DCO said a suitable site will be selected for parking plaza either on Hall Road or near Alfalah building
LAHORE:
A proposal for construction of a parking plaza on The Mall is under consideration so that traffic and parking issues on the road can be resolved, District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal said on Thursday. He was addressing a meeting with the Mall Road Traders’ Association. He said a suitable site will be selected for parking plaza either on Hall Road or near Alfalah building after consultation with the traders’ community. The district coordination officer also ordered to start operation against encroachments on The Mall and directed the town administration to confiscate the goods on sale at the encroachments. He said the campaign should be followed up with proper monitoring.
