Standard Chartered: Dedicated centres for SMEs launched

KARACHI: Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) announced the launch of trade centres for its Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) customers in Pakistan. The trade sector of Pakistan will benefit from the bank’s customer focus and diversification approach as 30 trade centres will be distributed amidst SCB’s 132 branches, across Pakistan. SCB is the first International bank to provide easy access and dedicated service to power the growth aspiration of the SME sector in Pakistan. Commenting on the launch, SCB Consumer Banking Executive Director and CEO Steve Bertamini said, “SMEs are key to economic diversification and as a customer focused bank, we have been developing services and products that cater to their specific business needs. Our newly launched trade centres will provide financial solutions and access to the world’s fastest growing markets across the bank’s footprint.”
