QUETTA: The mother of a missing boy on Tuesday urged human rights organisations of the United Nations, the European Union and other international agencies to help in the immediate and safe recovery of her son. She made the plea at a news conference outside the Quetta Press Club. “My 18-year-old son Abdul Wahab went missing some three years ago in Siri Kan Belcha area of Turbat, when he was going to Turbat with two of his friends,” she said. The mother alleged that Wahab and his friends were arrested by the Frontier Corps. “Two of his friends were released after three months,” she claimed. “We are concerned about his safety and security and fear that he will be killed and his body will be recovered some day somewhere,” she stated.
