LAHORE: Justice Aminuddin Khan of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed Pakistan Railways to arrange for extra coaches for people who want to attend the urs of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif. Sheikh Tariq Abbas, the Jhoolay Lal Council president, has challenged the closure of PR special trains for the urs through a contempt petition. He submitted that every year, PR ran 14 special trains for visitors to the urs. He said in previous years, the council had been forced to move the courts to get PR to run the trains. He asked the court to direct PR to arrange for the trains ahead of the urs from July 31 to August 2.
