Fisheries: Relief centres to be set up in Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Secretary for Livestock & Fisheries Department Abdul Ghani Jokhio has directed officials of the fisheries department to set up relief centres in 16 districts of Sindh province as a precautionary measure for the expected floods due to the monsoons in Sindh. A press release issued on Tuesday said that the official teams of fisheries department have been dispatched to different areas of province to monitor relief camps. Out of these 16 camps, 9 fall on the left bank while 7 fall on the right side of the river Indus, the release added.
