Embezzlement: Post office employee jailed for 3 years

A money order clerk at the Okara General Post Office, was also fined Rs179,000.

LAHORE: An accountability court on Monday sentenced a post office employee to three years in jail for embezzling Rs179,000 in money orders. Rana Saeed, who was a money order clerk at the Okara General Post Office, was also fined Rs179,000. The National Accountability Bureau investigated the case on the complaint of the management of the Okara GPO.
