Hit-and-run: Policeman dies in road accident

Constable Haider Ali was riding his bike when he was hit by a truck, causing severe injuries.

ISLAMABAD:

An Anti-Terrorism Squad official deployed at Police Lines Headquarters was killed near Tarnol Toll Plaza.

The police said Constable Haider Ali, a resident of sector G-6/1, was riding his bike when he was hit by a truck, causing severe injuries.

He was shifted to Pims, where his injuries proved fatal. A case of hit-and-run was registered against the unknown truck driver. Constable Ali’s body remains in the Pims mortuary.
