Busted: Drug trafficking effort foiled in Chaman

Authorities have started a probe into the matter and are on the lookout for the car driver.

CHAMAN: Law enforcement agencies recovered a huge quantity of narcotics from a vehicle on the Pak-Afghan border on Sunday. According to officials, a vehicle en route from Afghanistan was asked by security officials to stop for routine checks at the Gulistan checkpoint. Upon scrutiny, around 800 kg of hashish was recovered from the car. However, the driver managed to escape from the scene. Authorities have started a probe into the matter and are on the lookout for the car driver.
