KARACHI: Lahore School of Economics (LSE) thrashed Lahore Fighters 13-0 in the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Inter-club Women’s Championship yesterday, while Islamia Sports Science FC drew against Young Rising Star Layyah 1-1. Batool Fatima and Rehana scored five goals each for LSE while Shahzab scored two and Rida scored one. “Having matches with big scores like 13 or 20 goals is not exactly a good thing,” a PFF official told The Express Tribune. “It just shows that the competition level is not high.” Meanwhile, Karachi FC defeated Fatima Jinnah FC 1-0 in a group B match in Karachi that was played at the KPT Stadium.
