Hit-and-run: Three teenagers killed in accident

Three young motorcyclists died after colliding with a van in the outskirts of the city

ISLAMABAD: Three young motorcyclists died after colliding with a van in the outskirts of the city on Thursday. Nilore police said that three boys were heading to work on a motorbike when they collided head-on with a Toyota Hiace (IDF 7485) in front of Barrier Number 1. They were taken to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead. A police official said that the driver of the van, which belongs to National Engineering and Scientific Commission (Nescom), managed to flee from the scene. Police have registered an FIR against the unidentified van driver and investigations are underway. However, no official from Nescom approached the police till the filing of this report.

Now the question is, was there a traffic violation, such as common motorcyclist driving on the wrong side, wrong direction?
