LAHORE: District and Sessions Judge Mujahid Mustaqeem Ahmed on Friday marked the pre-arrest bail petition of Shan Muhammad Khan Khusro, son of former commissioner Khusro Parvez Khan to a judge for June 18.  The judge marked the bail petition to Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ) Nisar Ahmed after AD&SJ Hamid Hussain refused to hear the case over an argument with the  lawyer for the petitioner. Petitioner Shan Muhammad Khan’s lawyer said a false, frivolous and baseless case had been registered against him for an ulterior motive and with malafide intention. He said a plain reading of the FIR made it clear that even a suspicion had not been raised against him. He said the police were bent on arresting his client for ulterior motives. He said if his client was arrested he would suffer irreparable loss. The lawyer said his client was an A-level student and his studies would be effected. He prayed the court that his client be admitted to ad-interim pre-arrest bail. Fazal Elahi’s son Hamza left home after receiving a phone call from the petitioner. Later, Elahi got a call that his son had been gunned down.
