
The winner bagged Rs170,000 while the runner-up got Rs65,000 and the third position holder pocketed Rs20,000.
“The event was dedicated to the flood victims so I donated the money to the relief fund,” runner-up Subuk Jawaid told The Express Tribune. “Most of the racers were invited for the cause and people have donated their prize money to it.”
Syed Ismail Shah’s Gold Digger won the Kingre Lodge Performance Cup as Mind Me and Zoom came second and third. In other races, His Horses Hit the Height defeated Butterfly and Roman Glory and Commando outran Unspoken Wishes and Muqqadar in the last race of the day.
