Squash: Sadia beats Ahad in women’s event

PESHAWAR: Sadia Gul prevailed over Noor Ahad 3-0 as the Senior National Women Squash Championship got underway at the PAF Hasham Khan Squash Complex. Gul beat Ahad 11-4, 11-9, 11-7. In other matches, Punjab’s Alya outclassed Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s (K-P) 3-0, while Mehwish Hanif outplayed K-P’s Maryam with a similar scoreline. The tournament features 16 players from Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, K-P, Army, Wapda, PAF and Navy.
