16 killed in firing incidents in Balochistan

Ten people were killed in a firing incident on a minibus in the Mach area of Balochistan.

Six people were killed and four others were injured in a firing incident in Khilji Town, Quetta.

Police sources said that unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on labourers working near satellite town police station in Khilji town.

The firing killed six people and injured four others, who were shifted to a hospital.

Police and security forces cordoned off the area and commenced a search operation to arresst the attackers.

Ten killed in Mach

In another incident 10 people were killed in a firing incident on a minibus in the Mach area of Balochistan.

The victims were from Lahore, Gujrat and Sargodha. They were on their way from Lahore to Quetta, when they were stopped and ordered out of their minibus.

At this point, the gunmen opened fire, killing ten passengers and injuring another five. The shootings took place at Aab Gum in Mach.

The wounded are now being treated at Quetta's BMC Hospital.

Sikander Baloch | 14 years ago | Reply Dear u hav limited knowledge about Balochistan, even army and ISI in not safe there, recently 3 army men were killed in khuzadar and on 16 aug 2 ISI personel were gunned down in Mastung area. Army and ISI is doin the same ,torchering and killing innocent Baloch ppl. checkout this shameful act of pakistani army. http://eng.balochpeople.org/articles/human-rights/76 the army and establishment of Islamabad is forcing Baloch ppl to go against the state of Pakistan. Secondly did u hear anything about the theory of GREATER BALOCHISTAN, If not go through it

Man u pointed out Indian Aid to Militants in Balochistan, Man i Can't believe any of such romours or arguments unless we were given any proof as Pakistani govt still didn't publish any proof so its better to not argue on the issue which doesn't exist in reality. In case of Indian Aid to militants you ppl r blindly accepting that fake bt u can't see the Pak army using the weapons of USA against the innocent Baloch. U further mention that "killings wil stop dn missing wil stop",Man i just wanted to mention that just go through the history this target killing is recent activity in Balochistan while this is the 3rd major militry opeartion is goin on dea. Target killing is the reaction of that act which ISI and Army has started. @ Malik Dear Army is doing the same abducting the innocent ppl why dun u ppl criticise the role of FC and ISI in Balochistan istead of jus blaming Sardars and militants.

May Allah bless all my Pakistani (Panjabi, Pukhtoon,Baluchi or Sindhi) brothers killed in Baluchistan or in the flood or in any other part of the Country. All the killings of anyone should be condemned but I think we should not blame entire population of a province. Regards Burhan

They are mistaken if they they think society in long term will tolerate their friends being killied around them. these groups are losing their ethical base by exposing their faces to the society... They are killing the people who evan cant protest.. they just carry their dead bodies and bury them... And baloch and pakhtoons of balochistan will not remain indifferent to these killers in long term... these groups will be thrown out from the socitiy as people in swat threw taliban out of swat when they lose their moral base... Mr sikander its not me who is receiving money from indians, russians, israels and CIA for keeping things disturbed. GROWN UP when killing is stopped people gon missing will stop as well.

sikander Baloch | 14 years ago | Reply Agree with hammad i as a baloch condemn it too but are you people aware of the thousands of Baloch missing persons and day by day we people get the gift of our people's bullet riddled and tochered bodies , why media is silent on that issue? take the recent example today 2 bodies of Baloch republican party leaders were recovered from Khuzdar district who are been abducted by security forces 4 days ago as claimed by their families.
