ISLAMABAD: Fire erupted in one of the store rooms of Sports Centre of Capital Development Authority (CDA) at Iqbal Hall on Tuesday and caused minor damage before it was controlled. CDA Rescue and Fire Unit reached the spot within minutes and put off fire within another 15 minutes. Police and rescue officials said there were no casualties. However, the cause of fire was not known till the filing of this report. The fire could have started due to a short circuit, the fire department said.
