Pre-arrest bail: Lashana’s argument to be heard

LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Hussain Sial on Tuesday set June 19 for the hearing of a plea for bail before arrest for a stage actress accused of trespass and threatening her landlord with death. Petitioner Saba Rustam alias Lashana said the allegations were false and were made to blackmail her. According to the FIR, Iftikhar Ahmed has accused Lashana and her brother of threatening him with death and forcibly entering his house on December 31, 2011. Ahmed said that he had asked Lashana to vacate his house where he alleged she had been running a brothel.
