Tennis: Aqeel, Yasir to meet in the final

KARACHI: Top-seed Aqeel Khan and Yasir khan set up a final showdown at the Maroof Trophy Tennis Championships. Aqeel defeated Adil Kohari in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 while Yasir overcame Vinod Das 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 in the men’s singles semi-finals yesterday. Meanwhile, Hania Naveed defeated top-seed Sarah Ahmed 6-2, 7-6 in the women’s singles semi-final and will face Neha Khan in the final, who outplayed Vania Khan 6-3, 6-3.
