Landlords’ gathering: Man ‘marries’ eunuch in Muzafargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: A landlord celebrated his wedding with a eunuch publicly at a local marriage hall to the beat of music and dance.  Alcohol was openly served to guests throughout the night. Police provided security to the event that continued till late into the night, despite a legal ban on late night parties in the area. A resident of the area, Muhammad Aamir, has decided to go to court against the ceremony, while religious circles have also expressed resentment. Eunuch Nageena formally tied the knot with Malik Naveed who hails from Khan Garh at the party well attended by many rich young men of southern Punjab, who showered thousands of rupees on the dancing eunuchs.
