Eradication efforts: Child labour awareness day tomorrow

Millions of children are engaged in work that deprives them of adequate education, health and basic freedoms.

ISLAMABAD: The World Day against Child Labour will be observed on June 12 to raise awareness and contribute to eradicating the practice. Millions of children across the world are engaged in work that deprives them of adequate education, health and basic freedoms. The International Labour Organization launched the first World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 to highlight their plight.
