Court hearing: Witnesses testify in kidnapping case

The court heard the evidence of the musheer in the case of Mohammad Ayub and Gulbadin.

KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court-III heard two kidnapping cases on Saturday. The court heard the evidence of the musheer in the case of Mohammad Ayub and Gulbadin, based on FIR 944/2008 which includes charges of kidnapping and common intention. The original FIR was filed by the Korangi police station. In another kidnapping case, FIR 259/2006, the defence presented two witnesses on behalf of the accused men, which include Mohammad Yusuf and Masood. The FIR was filed by the Korangi Industrial Area police station. The witnesses, who are related to the accused, claimed in court that the men had been picked up from their house and when the relatives went to the police station to inquire, the police demanded money from them.
