KARACHI: The US Consulate’s public affairs officer in Karachi, Kevin Murakami, urged the citizens of Karachi to plant trees in the city.

He was speaking at a tree plantation ceremony on Thursday. “We must keep the city pollution free. Trees not only counter atmospheric pollution but are also an important source to prevent land erosion,” he said.
