Talking exclusively to the Online news agency after announcing a decrease in sugar prices on Friday, he said that around 5-10% subsidy will be available on products in Utility Stores in the month of Ramazan, while sugar will be sold at Rs15-Rs18 less than the market price.

The subsidy announced by the Govt of Pakistan at USC is nothing but a fraud with poor people of Pakistan. I would like to invite attention of high ups of Govt, that 2 billions subsidy will go into the pockets of corrupt mafia of USC.At my city Hyderabad I have searched that outlets of USC r involved in overcharging & there is no sugar at subsidy rate, every day USC outlets in charges r telling to poor people that sugar will be supplied tomorrow. All in charges of USC outlets r politically appointed & they r involved in open misappropriation of subsidy, there is no checking or accountability.
