Still missing: No clue of abducted schoolgirl

KHAIRPUR:
A schoolgirl who went missing in a labour colony in Hattar last week has not be recovered. However, the police claimed to have arrested a clerk on the suspicion of being involved in the abduction. Waheed Ahmed, a resident of Labour Colony Hattar, told the police that Sumaira Bibi*, a student of intermediate at the Government Higher Secondary School Kotnajibullah had left for school last week but did not return. The police claimed of having obtained her cell phone data history. They also claimed of arresting a school clerk namely Muhammad Hanif on the basis of data indicating that she had made frequent calls and messages to the accused. The police got physical remand of the suspect from the court of area magistrate and started investigations.
