Technology: 926 Multan students get laptops

MULTAN:


As many as 926 students got laptops in a distribution ceremony at the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) on Wednesday.


Students from various colleges and universities attended the event. The beneficiaries were 772 students of BZU, 36 of Nishtar Medical College and 118 students from other government colleges.

The ceremony was presided over by BZU Vice Chancellor Dr Khwaja Alqama.

Dr Alqama lauded the Punjab government’s policy saying Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was the first leader to help equip the students with latest technology. He hoped this will help the student to keep abreast of the latest trends in education and information.

Colleges Director Muhammad Hussain Azaad said that the government’s policy aimed at focusing on the latest educational trends.
