The prime minister has said that the opposition’s attitude on the day of the budget was “extremely un-parliamentary, undemocratic and unethical”.
Addressing a parliamentary party meeting of the PPP MNAs and coalition partners at the Parliament House, Yousaf Raza Gilani “deplored the attitude of the PML-N” and said PPP and the PML-Q had decided not to disrupt the budget session of the Punjab Assembly where they have about 175 members.
In a statement released, the premier said that the people of Pakistan want the opposition to behave like a democratic entity and desist from hooliganism and concentrate on pointing out the deficiencies in the budget and give proposals to the government for improving the health of the economy.

@ Ali comprehension challenge much ? You can keep your damn democracy and I will take electricity on it every day. In true democracy, you wouldnt be sitting in dark !
@H Chaudhry:If there is another system besides democracy, please let me know what is it called. You don't have answer to this, if you do, I'm sure it's illegal, like martial law. What do you want for this country? We can't go back a millenia and half and have that system of Khilafat resurrected again with some modification to make it look not so crazy. you are confusing reality with fiction.
@ali so democracy is more important than loadshedding ? What has democracy given to you ? By the way if there was a true democracy, there would not have been loadshedding. There is nothing wrong in what Shahbaz said.
yet another episode of 'Noora-khushti' between PPP and PML(N)......all they care about is getting into power so they can increase their assets
PML(N) showed how low they can get once again, just not letting up is a clever but dishonest strategy. Instead of sharing pains of the society, they are acting like lunatics and as a result exacerbating the problems of ordinary people. Nawaz Sharif is really getting desparate, his brother even said that democracy is not as important as loadshedding elimination. They are going thru their last spasms.
Sorry PMLN it’s too late!!! Just to gain public sympathies. You might have done this quite earlier. You people have supported/overlooked this corrupt setup throughout their tenor just to spice up your rule in Punjab. What a pathetic approach you people have!! Put your luggage in order
Despite all the uproar and hustle & bustle, these punjabis will have to accept the budget prepared and presented by the ""so called"" convisted PM's team. They will happily accept the funds allocation. That's the bottom line.
what is this democratic system where nobody can inquire about ur increasing assets, I bet dictatorship would have been far better than ur's regime
Convicts and their love for democracy! What a country.
