The petitioner, Sajjad Ahmad, told the court that he purchased a Samsung Model LED 46C6900 for Rs60,000 on April 25 from the respondent, Ahmad Shah. He said that he later found he had been given a Samsung 40C6200 series TV.
He asked the court to direct the respondent to pay him Rs200,000 for mental torture and the Rs60,000 he had paid for the set.
Talking to The Express Tribune, Ahmed Shah said that the allegations were false. He said the petitioner had never approached him with a complaint.
