PTCL: World Environment Day 2012 celebrated

ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) commemorated World Environment Day (WED) 2012 on June 5 by reaffirming its commitment to align organisational efforts with environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. PTCL creatively engaged its employees with the message, “Every drop is precious. Treat water with respect.” In the recent past, PTCL has made significant efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. By encouraging a paperless work environment, the telecom giant is aiming to reduce the adverse effect of greenhouse gases on the planet.
