Not all killings in Karachi are target killings: IG Sindh
“For instance, there were 11 incidents yesterday. They were all projected as target killings, but they were not,” he said. “Some killings are political, sectarian or personal.”
Shah added that the police are trying their best to curb incidents of violence in the city. “Look at last year’s figures, there was a period when target killings had risen, but we controlled it. This year, too, the target killings increased in this month and a half, but we are trying to control it.”
Earlier during the day, Express News reported that two people were killed in separate firing incidents in Karachi.
A shopkeeper named Javed was shot dead by motorcyclists in the Garden area, which led to protests erupting in the area. Protestors closed down shops and blocked the roads by burning tires.
Another man, Ali Hassan Jamali, was killed by unknown people in the PIB Colony area of the city.

Why is the conviction rate so low in Karachi???
The problem is that the police force is recruited on politico ethnic grounds . The Sindh Public Service Connission should be disbanded recruitments should made through the Federal level where the commissioners are not that malleable.
And the best part is "You never get to catch any killer"
Yeah we know that, Girl friends are getting their ex boyfriends killed in Karachi.
