LONDON: Award-winning Christian electro-pop band, Ooberfuse has announced details for an all-out media blitz to raise awareness for Aasia Bibi – a Pakistani Christian mother of five who has been sentenced to death by hanging for defending her Christian beliefs. She is the first woman in Pakistan’s history to receive this form of capital punishment. The Free Aasia Bibi media-awareness campaign includes the release of a song titled Free Aasia Bibi, a music video and an informational website, www.FreeAsiaBibi.co.uk. Ooberfuse stumbled across Aasia Bibi’s autobiography, which they had to translate to English from French.
