FAISALABAD: Many young men engage in riding their motorcycles on one wheel these days, especially on the weekends — from Khurrianwala Chowk to the Gutwala toll plaza. They also race each other and in the process drive recklessly and make a general nuisance of themselves. Other than driving their motorbikes on one wheel, many also lie flat or horizontal on the seat, with feat pointed backwards, and the travel at break-neck speed. Of course, all this happens thanks to the inefficiency of the local traffic police which seems to look the other way when the bikers do this.
At the very least, whoever engages in such actions that pose a risk to public safety should have his licence confiscated and motorcycle impounded by the traffic police.
