Milestone marked: Diamond jubilee of ties with Japan

Nearly 250 students were informed about the Japanese culture and education system.

KARACHI: The Hamdard Public School and the Japan Culture Centre organised an informative programme on Saturday at the Bait-al-Hikma, to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Japan.

Nearly 250 students were informed about the Japanese culture and education system, and were also shown a film about the routine activities of schoolchildren in Japan.

The Senior Consul of the Consulate General of Japan, Masamichi Abe, taught the students some common words and phrases from the Japanese language.
