Simon gets snarky

During auditions, “The X Factor” judge Simon Cowell has been suggesting to talentless singers that they should audition for “The Voice”. And this isn’t just a random thing that came out of his mouth, the snarky comment about the NBC show was planned beforehand. It started with LA Reid telling one person who came for an audition, “If you decide to try out again, please do it on another show.” To which Simon added, “Yes, the good news is ‘The Voice’ auditions are happening next week.” The comment must be out of jealousy considering “The Voice” has done better than “X Factor” last season and had it not been for rumours about Britney Spears joining the judging panel, “The X Factor” rating were already plummeting down fast.

Hilton, Kardashian patch up?

Besides R-rated videos, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton have another thing in common — they were initially two socialites who were best friends with each other. However, after a clash of egos, they parted ways.  Recently they had an awkward run-in at the Cannes Film Festival. Instead of getting into a reality-TV-style catfight, the two remained civil and “hugged, smiled and chatted for a while”. We liked it better when there was some animosity brewing between them!

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan has a new admirer

While the world is abuzz about her weight gain, Aishwariya Rai-Bachchan is still winning international admirers. And this time it’s none other than Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin. A source close to Rai-Bachchan said, “On Friday evening, Ash and Alec came together for an interview at the Le Grand Journal, Canal Studio. When Alec met Ash, he told Jacob that he was a very big fan of Aishwarya and added that the Hollywood fraternity is crazy about her.” That wasn’t all. The source adds, “After the show was over, Alec even introduced her to his fiance Hilaria Thomas.”

Justin Bieber to spend six months in jail?

Up till now Justin Bieber has led a completely non child celebrity life. There have been no car crashes, no drug abuse, no posing nude, no long string of exes — he’s been too normal for a celebrity of his stature. But now things are changing, TMZ has reported that he is a suspect in a criminal battery case. A paparazzo attempted to take Bieber’s picture in LA and according to law enforcement, some sort of physical altercation erupted between the singer and the camera guy. By the time, the photographer had called 911 and the cops had reached the scene, Bieber and his girfriend Selena Gomez had already left the area. The latest is that if Bieber is charged and convicted, he could face up to six months in prison.
