Media talk: ‘Hold politicians accountable’

PPP has brought democracy back on track, says Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan.

SIALKOT: “The people should hold accountable the politicians who had changed political loyalties for personal gains,” Federal Minister for National Regulation and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Sunday. She was talking to the media and her constituents at her residence in Koobay Chak near Sialkot. Expressing confidence in the premier, she said Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani enjoyed the confidence of the parliament. PPP, she said, had respected the mandate voters had given other political parties. She also talked about how the “PPP had brought democracy back on track” and the PPP’s efforts to promote the political reconciliation.
