Postings and transfers: New Narcotics Control secretary appointed

Iqbal has been replaced as FIA DG by Fayyaz Ahmad Leghari, a BS-21 PSP officer who was awaiting posting.

ISLAMABAD:


Javed Iqbal, a BS-22 Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) officer, has been removed from the post of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) director general and appointed Narcotics Control secretary, according to an official notification issued on Friday. Iqbal has been replaced as FIA DG by Fayyaz Ahmad Leghari, a BS-21 PSP officer who was awaiting posting.


Port Qasim Authority Director General Muhammad Rashid, a BS-20 Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) officer, has been transferred and placed at the disposal of the Sindh government.

National Vocational and Technical Training Lahore Regional Director Rashid Mansoor, a BS-20 PAS official, has been made OSD, while BS-19 PAS official Mumtaz Ali Khan has been removed from the post of Utility Store Corporation general manager.

Cabinet Division Section Officer Abdul Majeed a BS-18 Office Management Group (OMG) officer, was promoted to BS-19 and posted as National Harmony Ministry deputy secretary

Secretariat Group officer Rana Kaiser Ishaque was promoted to BS-19 and will continue as Benzir Income Support Programme director. Commerce Ministry Deputy Secretary Khalida Bashir, also a Secretariat Group officer, was promoted to BS-19 on the same post.

Postal Life Insurance Admin Director Tayyab Yazdani Malik, a BS-19
Postal Group officer, was deputed to the National School of Public Policy pending assignment.

Balochistan Archives Director Munir Ahmad Jan, a BS-19 Balochistan Information Department officer, was deputed as Establishment Division deputy secretary.
