LAHORE: Pakistan Railways Loco Shed Employee union on Saturday continued its four-hour token strike for the 14th consecutive day. They shouted slogans against the government and the railway minister for not addressing their issues. The protesters did not allow any locomotive to leave the shed, which disrupted the train schedule. Talking to reporters, the union secretary Inayat Gojra said that a summary of the employees’ demands had been sent to the finance ministry. He said that the token strike would continue until the acceptance of their demands was notified. He also warned of a “countrywide wheel-jam strike on May 29” if their grievances were not addressed.
