Capital punishment: Man receives multiple death penalties

NAUSHERO FEROZE: A man was awarded death sentences on seven separate counts by an Anti-Terrorism Court, on Thursday.

Sikandar Nodho killed seven members of the same family in 2004 with the help of a girl, Arbeli, who was a member of the family. Their bodies were buried in a well. The murders took place in Sanheri Village, Taluka Moro. Nodho, who was already involved in nefarious activities, was arrested by the police and confessed to the murders. Arbeli was also arrested but died due to hepatitis after about a year in Sukkur jail.
